Reopening in March 2012

Museum galleries will be closed to the public during January and February. Please join us in March when we reopen with a new art exhibition, Long Island in Bloom. All other museum business, including our education programs will continue as usual. You may contact our offices during regular business hours, Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in the Long Island Museum. We look forward to seeing you this spring. .

The Long Island Museum relies on the generosity of supporters to meet the costs of exhibitions, educational services, programs, and collection care.  Every gift makes a difference. 

Here’s what you can do:

  • Give to the annual appeal, click for a printable donation form
  • Sponsor an exhibition, educational program or special event
  • Attend one of our fundraising events like the annual Holiday Celebration and/or Golf Tournament
  • Hold your next meeting, party or other event at the museum (see our Facility Rental page)
  • Contribute to the museum in honor of a loved one
  • Bring your family to exhibitions, special events and public programs
  • Volunteer
